HTML <title> Tag

In HTML, the <title> tag is used to define the title of a document. The title is displayed in the browser tab or window title bar when the web page is loaded. It is also used by search engines to determine the content of the page.

Here is the basic syntax of the <title> tag:

<title>This is the title of the page</title>

Always remember to place the <title> tag inside the <head> section of your HTML document, like this:

<head>
  <title>This is the title of the page</title>
</head>

Attributes of the <title> Tag

text Specifies the text to be displayed as the title of the document

Here is an example of how to use the <title> tag with the text attribute:

<head>
  <title text="Page Title">This is the title of the page</title>
</head>

When the above code is rendered in a browser, the title of the tab or window will be "Page Title".
