HTML Formatting Tutorial
HTML formatting allows you to control the visual appearance of your content on a webpage. There are several HTML tags that can be used to format text, including:
<b>
- bold text<i>
- italicized text<u>
- underlined text<h1>
to<h6>
- heading text<em>
- emphasized text (typically rendered in italics)<strong>
- strong emphasis (typically rendered in bold)
Here is an example of how to use these formatting tags:
<p>This is <b>bold</b> text.</p>
<p>This is <i>italicized</i> text.</p>
<p>This is <u>underlined</u> text.</p>
<h1>This is a heading</h1>
<em>This is emphasized text.</em>
<strong>This is strongly emphasized text.</strong>
In addition to text formatting, HTML also allows for the creation of lists and tables to organize content.
Creating a Table
Tables are useful for displaying data in rows and columns. Here is an example of how to create a simple table in HTML:
<table>
<tr>
<td>Row 1, Cell 1</td>
<td>Row 1, Cell 2</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Row 2, Cell 1</td>
<td>Row 2, Cell 2</td>
</tr>
</table>
This will create a table with 2 rows and 2 columns. Each <td>
tag represents a cell in the table.
