HTML <legend> Tag

The <legend> tag is used to define a title for a group of related elements in a form. It is typically used in conjunction with the <fieldset> tag, which groups together form elements and adds a border around them.

How to Use the <legend> Tag

</fieldset>

In the example above, the <legend> tag is used to provide a title for the group of form elements related to personal information. This helps to organize the form and make it more accessible for users.

Attributes of the <legend> Tag

Attribute Description
align Specifies the alignment of the legend text. Possible values are "left", "right", and "center".

The <legend> tag has one main attribute, which is the align attribute. This attribute allows you to specify how the text inside the <legend> tag should be aligned within the fieldset.

Example with Align Attribute
