HTML <p> Tag

The <p> tag is used in HTML to define a paragraph of text. It is a block-level element and automatically creates some space around it. It is one of the most commonly used tags in HTML for organizing and formatting content on a webpage.

Usage of the <p> Tag

Here is an example of how the <p> tag is used in HTML:

<p>This is a paragraph of text.</p>

When rendered in a browser, the above code will display the text "This is a paragraph of text." in a paragraph format on the webpage.

Main <p> Tag Attributes

Attribute Description
align Specifies the alignment of the paragraph. Possible values are left, right, center, or justify.
id Specifies a unique id for the paragraph.
class Specifies one or more classes for the paragraph, which can be used for styling with CSS.

Here is an example of how the align attribute can be used with the <p> tag:

<p align="center">This is a centered paragraph.</p>

When rendered in a browser, the above code will display the text "This is a centered paragraph." centered on the webpage.

Overall, the <p> tag is a fundamental element in HTML for structuring content and presenting it in a readable format on a webpage.
