Textarea Tutorial

HTML <textarea> Tag Tutorial

The <textarea> tag in HTML is used to create a multi-line text input field where users can enter text. It is commonly used in forms to get longer text inputs such as comments, messages, or descriptions.

Usage of <textarea> Tag

To use the <textarea> tag, you simply need to include it in your HTML code and specify the number of rows and columns for the text area. Here is an example of how to create a simple <textarea> tag:

<textarea rows="4" cols="50">
Enter your text here...
</textarea>

In this example, the <textarea> tag has 4 rows and 50 columns. Users can enter text within the text area, and the text will automatically wrap based on the size of the text area.
